Food when your out, the right route

“Food when your out, the right route” is a new series that we will be posting on how to eat  out or when your on the go and are crunched for time.

After a great and long workout session, I drove over to Whole Foods and purchased a whole bbq turkey leg, with some delicious potato medley sprinkled with slivered almonds, and a nice size coconut water. Here we have a decent balanced meal of Protein (turkey leg), fats (slivered almonds, and i even count the delicious skin on the turkey leg), and the wrongfully feared Carbohydrates (potato medley)

    I thought potato was a Paleo no-no? Did I pass on that Duchess potato last night in vain…lol. I know, the cheese makes it moot anyway.

      Hey Cat!

      Sweet potatoes would be a better option (and more “paleo”), but white potatoes every once in awhile will not kill you. Especially when you remove the skin, this greatly reduces inflammation caused by potatoes.
